A 1934 close up view of the bridge carrying the railway over Holyhead Road and the throat of the Wharf. Compared to the 1885 plan of the Wharf, it would appear the bridge was originally built to accommodate two sets of tracks. as can be seen from this photo and the 1903 Ordnance Survey plan, the bridge must have been rebuilt as it now carries three tracks.
