The parcel dock more or less occupied the site of the L&BR's platform. Above the two Vent Vans washing can be seen confirming that the former station building was being used as a house. The brick built building complete with chimney would appear to be within the garden area of the former station building. The parcel dock platform was formed by the second station's (1840) platform.
