Ex-LNWR 2-4-2T No 46654 is seen standing at Platform 1, the up platform, ready to propel a motor train from Nuneaton to Leamington circa 1952. At this time, Warwick (Milverton) shed had an allocation of these ageing 2-4-2T locomotives for working the Leamington - Coventry - Nuneaton services. No other engines fitted with the vacuum-operated 'Pull and Push' controls being available.
