LNWR 4-4-0 Precursor Class No 2011 'Brougham' is seen standing at Coventry's Up platform with an up express service. Built by the LNWR in August 1907, No 2011 was renumbered by the LMS as No 5283 in August 1927 which it retained until March 1936 when it was withdrawn from service. Had it survived a little longer it was to be allocated on the duplicate list as No 25283. Note the two LNWR lower quadrant signals on the right, one being for the branch to Leamington and the other for the main line to Rugby.
