A right hand three-quarters view of No 1 Rail Car before the transfer 'Coventry Railcar' has been applied. Photographs exist of both Rail Car No 1 and No 2 bearing their respective numbers but they are sometimes misdescribed as No 2 and No 3 with the 'missing' No 1 assumed to be a convenient reference to the Cambridge Type 22 railcar. At around the time the Coventry cars were introduced, 1935, the Type 22 railcar simply disappeared. Probably, the Coventry cars rendered it redundant and it returned to France.
