Close up showing the Cauliflower goods engine at the head of a train of three four-wheel flat wagons and a mixture of four and six-wheel coaching stock

This close up of image 'lnwrcov289' showing an unknown LNWR 0-6-0 Cauliflower goods engine entering the up platform with three four-wheel flat wagons and a mixture of four and six-wheel coaching stock. The train standing on the down line under Warwick Road bridge has no guards van at this end and therefore it might be part of a shunting manoeuvre as there was a siding on the down side of the line beyond Warwick Road bridge. The LNWR 0-6-0 DX seen above shows several differences compared to the DX locomotive seen in image 'lnwrcov290a'. The most obvious being a more sophisticated smoke box door, being a 'centrally fixed' on a cone shape door in lieu of the top hung variety and solid splashers.
