Ex-LMS 4P Compound 4-4-0 No 41122 is receiving attention to
its outside cylinders outside Coventry shed in 1950. The locomotive is standing
on one of the two roads outside of the extension which was built in 1897. The
new extension was erected to a design similar to the 1867 building with the
exception of the two gated arch entrances being replaced by a steel lintel
providing a square opening to the two roads. The original building was modified
to suit.
