BR 4-6-2 7MT Standard Britannia class No 70021 'Morning Star' is seen at the head of a down cement train passing opposite Coventry No 1 Goods shed. Built at Crewe works in August 1951 to a Riddles design - an ex-LMS man - this two-cylinder Pacific class locomotive remained in service until December 1967 when it was withdrawn from Kingmoor shed at Carlisle to be scrapped in May 1968 by TW Ward of Inverkeithing.
