British Railways 4-6-0 Standard class 5MT No 75063 is seen standing in front of ex-LMS 8F No 48686 inside Coventry's new shed with both carrying 5E shed plates. The Standard class 5MTs were in essence an updated version of the ex-LMS Stanier 'Black 5' design with raised running plates for easier maintenance and LNER pattern slide bars.

Built at Swindon in June 1957 No 75063 remained in service for less than a decade being withdrawn in June 1966 from Shrewsbury shed to be scrapped in August 1966 by Birds of Long Marston near Stratford upon Avon. The class 8F was initially numbered No 8686 when it was built by Brighton works in February 1944 and it remained in service until November 1966 when it was withdrawn from Edgeley shed near Stockport to be scrapped in June 1967 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
