Birmingham New Street Station
LNWR Locomotives: lnwrbns_pg466
View of LNWR 0-6-2T 'Watford Tank' No 775 is seen paused
standing on the up middle road in between pilot duties at New Street station
circa 1921. Built in 1902, No 775 was a member of a class which was a tank
version of the 'Cauliflowers', 18in Goods engines first built by FW Webb in
1880. The class were known as Watford Tanks because they were used on the
Watford to Euston service although they were found all over the LNWR
system.
