BR Period Locomotives: lnwrbns_br3310
Ex-LMS 5MT 4-6-0 No 44870 simmers prior to departure as
drivers chat after changing crews on March 1961. Built as LMS No 4870 by Crewe
works in March 1945, No 44870 was to remain in service until June 1967 when it
was withdrawn from 10F Rose Grove shed to be scrapped by G Cohen of
Kettering.
