BR Period Locomotives: lnwrbns_br2891
Ex-LMS 3P 2-6-2T No 40129 is seen wreathed in steam as it
pauses between pilot duties at New Street station. Built as LMS No 129 in
September 1935 by Derby works, No 40129 was to remain in service until October
1961 when it was withdrawn from 3E Monument Lane to be scrapped by Cashmores of
Great Bridge.
