Ex-LMS 5XP 4-6-0 Jubilee class No 45733 'Novelty' is seen arriving at Platform 6 with empty stock on Sunday 19th February 1961. Built by Crewe works in November 1936 No 45733 was to remain in service until August 1964 when it was withdrawn from Crewe North shed to be scrapped during January 1965 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
