Looking south towards the Kenilworth branch junction which is curving away to the left alongside the goods yard. The structure on the up platform is of the same design as that seen on the down platform and would have provided a general waiting room and a ladies waiting room. The signals in the distance show that there is a train approaching from behind the photographer heading towards Tile Hill station and on to Coventry. With two railway porters evident on the platform it would appear that the train was a local service.
