Ex-LMS 5XP 4-6-0 Jubilee class No 45639 'Raleigh' is seen passing Aston No 2 signal cabin in 1959. This photograph was taken from Lovers Walk' a pathway which ran parallel to the railway and to Grovesnor Road which was a few yards away. Built as LMS No 5639 by Crewe works in December 1934 No 45639 was to remain in service until September 1963 when it was withdrawn from 55A Holbeck shed.
