LMS Route: Trent Valley Line

LMS 4-6-0 Jubilee Class No 5709 'Implacable' passes under the roadside station building with an up express sometime in 1938. Built by Crewe works in June 1936, No 5709 was renumbered by British Railways as No 45709 in January 1949. 'Implacable' carried this number until November 1963 when it was withdrawn from 5A Crewe North shed to be scrapped by J Cashmores of Great Bridge.
