LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Lichfield

Looking in the direction of Birmingham with the bridge carry the railway over Chester Road seen beyond the platform. This view shows that the building on the up platform, for trains proceeding on to Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield, had a hip roof whilst the building on the down platform had a gable roof. Again this 1977 view has been included until a selection of pre-1968 photographs are available.
