This close up of image 'gcrcs8' shows ex-LNER 2-8-0 class O1 /8 No 63789 blowing off from the safety valves. The white mark running down its firebox is staining from a water leak coming from a wash out plug.

Number 63789 was built in July 1919 by North British Loco as a ROD 2-8-0 class O4 when it carried the ROD running number 1884. It carried the LNER running number 6216 when it was rebuilt by Thomson as an O1 /8. It was withdrawn in November 1962 and scrapped in June 1963 by Derby Works.
