Contractor's locomotive "Annie", an open cab 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotive with the tipping gang at Barby Lane [Onley Lane?], Rugby. Note the shape of the shovel used by the gang its has a round pointed shape as this is the most effective for cutting into the soil whilst its width is designed to load as much soil as the man can lift on a frequent basis.
