This view of the station could in fact be another copy of image 'gcrcs65', although from a different source, or be taken at the same time as it too shows the station shortly after opening albeit with a little more detail of the embankment.

In common with many other stations on the London Extension, passengers would reach the single island platform via the covered staircase which can be seen leading down from the brick and girder overbridge carrying Hilmorton Road (bridge 455). Rising above the platform canopy and staircase is the main station building.
