Building the last Main Line Railway

Built by T. Oliver & Son as part of Contract No.4 (Rugby to Woodford), this plate girder occupation bridge carried the London Extension across a farm track south of Willoughby Station, Warwickshire. The sweep of the curved wing walls and the brick ends of the parapet give this structure a surprisingly elegant appearance.
