This close up of image 'gcrcs12' of LNER 4-6-0 class B1 No 61299 shows it in a grubby condition.

Because number 61299 was built for BR by the North British Loco Co in March 1948 it strictly should not strictly be described as an ex-LNER locomotive. It was withdrawn in July 1965 from Colwick shed before being scrapped in December 1965 by G.Cohen, Coburn Works of Ickles, Rotherham.
