Building the last Main Line Railway
Flecknoe, Willoughby and Staverton: gcrcs129
Photographed prior to the arrival of the embankment, this is
bridge no. 469, a handsome brick arch occupation underbridge with curved wing
walls that carried the line across a farm track west of Braunston,
Warwickshire. It was in fact the first bridge south of the Great Central's
Braunston and Willoughby Station.
