Building the last Main Line Railway
Flecknoe, Willoughby and Staverton: gcrcs116
A completed brick arch occupation underbridge which carried
the London Extension over a farm track just south of Wolfhampton around 1897.
Built by T Oliver & Son as part of Contract No 4 (Rugby to Woodford), this
structure (Bridge No 477) was one of countless bridges constructed by the Great
Central to provide farmers with access to their land.
