Looking south along a section of temporary contractor's railway towards the girder overbridge that carried Hilmorton Road across the site of Rugby Central Station, photographed on 13.3.1897. Steps leading down from the bridge provided access to the station platform. T. Oliver & Son was the firm contracted to build this section of the GC Main Line.
