GWR Route: North Warwickshire Line

Yardley Wood Platform: gwryw530

Looking towards Stratford Upon Avon at about the time the station opened in 1908. The rural location is apparent with countryside in all directions. The fall in the land from left to right resulted in the up (right) platform building requiring raised foundations. The fencing is standard GWR iron railings with lamp posts at approximately 30 foot intervals.
