GWR Route: North Warwickshire Line

Looking towards Stratford upon Avon with the down platform and waiting room on the left and the up platform and waiting room on the right in 1908. The bottom of the ramps for pedestrian access to both platforms was via gated entrances and these can be seen on the left, adjacent to the nearest lamppost and on the right by the fenced approach. The rural location of the station is clearly apparent with fields in all directions. The fall in the land from left to right resulted in the up platform building being raised to platform level on brick foundations. The fencing is standard GWR iron railings with oil lit lampposts at approximately 30 foot intervals.
