GWR Route: North Warwickshire Line
Yardley Wood Station: gwryw526
GWR 4-6-0 No 5930 'Hannington Hall' is seen passing through
the station at speed on a down West of England excursion train. Number 5930 was
built at Swindon in June 1933 and lasted less than thirty years in service
being withdrawn from Worcester shed in September 1962 before being scrapped in
January 1964 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
The sign reads 'Passengers are requested to the Cross the
Line by the Bridge'.
