The Railway Children literally! This photograph was part of the series taken of the stations along the North Warwickshire line on or about the time it opened in 1908. The bridge in these Edwardian days only carried a country lane yet very quickly the railway attracted new developments resulting in the urban sprawl we know as Yardley to day.
