GWR 2-8-0 28xx class No 2829 is seen approaching Wood End on a northbound goods train. Built by Swindon works in February 1907, No 2829 was to remain in service for exactly fifty-two years being withdrawn from 85B Horton Road shed in Gloucester to be scrapped by Swindon works.
