GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

GWR 4-6-0 King class No 6026 'King John' with just a slight evidence of smoke at the chimney roars through the station on a down express service. Number 6026 was built at Swindon works in July 1930 and remained in service until September 1962 when it was withdrawn from Old Oak Common shed and was scrapped in November 1963 at Swindon Works.
