Tyseley Shed: gwrt333

GWR 2-8-0 No 4701, the first locomotive of the 4701 class, is seen with its tender buffered up against the stops at Tyseley shed in June 1934. Built by Swindon works to Lot 22 in January 1922 No 4701 remained in service until September 1963 when it was withdrawn from Old Oak Common shed to be scrapped in December 1963 by Coopers Metals of Sharpness.
