This close up of image 'gwrsrh288' shows the same train as seen in image 'gwrsrh281a' still remains in the refuge siding. In exceptional cases and certainly on many occasions during the war trains may not move throughout the whole of a crew's working day. Rod Liddiard writes "I have spent many an hour waiting in this siding waiting for a path to Banbury".
