Taken from the road over bridge (Haslucks Green Road) GWR 4-6-0 No 5994 'Roydon Hall' has just left Shirley Station and is heading towards Stratford upon Avon. Number 5994 was a member of the 49XX class being built at Swindon in December 1939, withdrawn from Shrewsbury in March 1963, and scrapped at J cashmore of Newport in June 1965.

The siding in the foreground was often used to store empty coaching stock. 16th June 1960
