GWR Route: Stratford Upon Avon to Hatton
Stratford upon Avon Station: gwrsa508
Looking towards Honeybourne along platform 1 with platform
2's buildings on the right. In the distance can be seen the footbridge and
further on, Alcester Road bridge favourite site of most photographers. The lamp
posts on the down, No 1, platform were certainly not standard GWR issue being
very elaborate. To the left of the railings lay the town's livestock market
which generated much traffic up to the 1950s.
