This close up of image 'gwrsa505' shows the differences between platform 2's buildings at this time and when platform 3 was added (or became a through road). The footbridge is evident as are the buildings seen in images 'gwrsa500/2/3/4 and 'gwrsa615'. However there is an additional building in the foreground which appears to be offering substantial facilities as it has one large and one small chimney.

Barely legible on the left is a station sign which appears to say 'Stratford on Avon' missin the "Up" in 'Upon'. Another sign at the corner with the pathway that led to Alcester Road is another sign the wording to indestinct to read. It appears to be of the type that announced to pasengers either connecting lines or nearby locations that was common on the line.
