GWR Route: Stratford Upon Avon to Hatton

Another view, in GWR days this time, looking northwards towards Birmingham. Note the fields to the left of the photograph. In the course of time this would be the site of the Ministry of Food's store opening on 20th July 1942. The location presumably had something to do with the areas farming and agricultural resources. The Vale of Evesham just a few miles further south was known in the area as the 'Garden of Eden'.
