Ex-LMS 0-6-0 4F No 44353 is bearing a 2E shed plate as it stands at the GWR coaling stage for coaling and watering before returning to the SMJ to continue duties on 12th November 1960. By this date the SMJ shed had closed compelling any locomotive using the SMJ to South Wales via the Stratford to Honeybourne line to make a detour to the GWR shed. Built in May 1927 by Kerr Stuart No 44353 remained in service until February 1965 when it was withdrawn from Buxton shed to be scrapped by TW Ward Ltd of Killamarsh in May of the same year.
