The combined coal stage and water tank at Stratford-upon-Avon shed, showing the ladder to inspect the tank and the apparatus which measured the depth of the water in the tank. The base of the coal stage was 30 feet by 16 feet and the tank could hold 22,500 gallons of water. Circa 1960.
