GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

View of rebuilt station. Interestingly, whilst the stations on the newly quadrupled section of the route were built at the same time there were a number of design differences. Unlike Widney Manor and Knowle and Dorridge this station has two island platforms with the fast through roads in the middle with frieght and local stopping traffic using the outside roads. The platform edging used here is paved with brick facing, the same as Knowle and Dorridge, and did not use timber as was the case at Widney Manor.
