GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

This view in 1951 shows the down platform buildings which are in a reasonable condition after the ravages of war. The platforms are not so neat and tidy with grass growing between the paved platform edgings which were previously dressed with stone chippings. Despite this the trackwork still looks in good condition, certainly when compared with the railway infrastructure of today.
