View of GWR 4-6-0 No 4088 'Darlington Castle' passing through the station on an up Worcester to Paddington express on 11th October 1958. A member of the '4073' Castle class No 4088 was built at Swindon works in July 1925 and remained in service until May 1964 when it was withdrawn from St. Philips Marsh shed in Bristol to be later scrapped in September 1964 by G Cohen of Morriston.
