Ex-SR 4-6-2 Battle of Britain class No 34064 'Fighter
Command' hurries through Leamington on the annual Tallylyn Special to Towyn
where all concerned would enjoy a trip on the narrow gauge 28th September 1963.
In the background you can the Leamington Avenue Road station, on the former
LNWR line to Coventry and Nuneaton. Built originally as No 21C 164 by Brighton
works in July 1947 it remained in service until May 1966 when it was withdrawn
from Salisbury shed and scrapped in November 1966 by Birds of Tremains Yard in
Bridgend.
