The new booking hall reflected the 1930s 'Art Deco' style with its straight lines and functionality perhaps best illustrated by the bench on the right. The booking hall had three windows, display cases on the right advertising fares, a clock presented to the GWR by the corporation of Leamington and a cut-out figure promoting a 'Restaurant Car' service to Epsom races for a fare of 14s 3d First class and 9s 6d Third class (71 pence and 47.5 pence in today's decimal currency.
