This close up of image 'gwrls867' shows the very basic facilities of the platform with just two GWR bench seats provided for passenger comfort. The device on the right is thought to be a hand operated fire pump which would have certainly been a requirement built from timber. Has a special effort been made for the official GWR photographer? The two brooms leaning against the columns to the left of the photograph might be provide an answer as might the unaccompanied suitcase sat on the platform.
