GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton
Leamington Spa: gwrls850d
This close up of image 'gwrls850' shows the lines passing
through the station had a more pronounced curve than was at first apparent in
drawings of the layout. Above the passenger footbridge can be seen the roof of
the signal box and above that the tall water tank which provided the numerous
water columns in vicinity of the station. The tank was located by the site of
the original turntable in front of the original engine shed.
