A view of Leamington station looking towards Birmingham just after the turn of the century. The original train shed has had the middle section removed leaving a portion of the roof parallel with the platform edge. The end of the roof has had the elliptically-arched truss removed and replaced by an ad-hoc affair of timbers cantilevering out to support the roof. John Copsey writes 'In the centre can be seen the two sidings, well utilised here for stock storage, with four-, six- and eight-wheel coaches to be seen; some six years later, these lines were replaced by a pair of lines for through running'.
