A GWR 2-4-0, possibly a '3226' class locomotive waits at the down platform with a Birmingham bound local train. John Copsey writes "the 2-4-0 engines had been the dominant express type in earlier times and were still seen regularly around Leamington throughout the Great War, but not for long afterwards". 5th May 1911
