GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 2-6-2T Prairie No 4112 stands under the coaling stage ready to be coaled. Points of interest in this 1958 view of the shed is the enlarged "bridge" which projected out over the road where the locomotives stood but also what appears to be a roller shutter on the side where the coal wagons accessed the coaling stage. Above the boiler the ladder leading to the top of the water tower can be seen as are timber steps on the far side of the coaling stage behind the bunker leading down from the office.
