GWR 4-6-0 No 5069 'Isambard Kingdom Brunel' stands at the head of an up express circa 1938. Number 5069 was built at Swindon works to Lot 310 in June 1938 and lasted in service until withdrawn from Laira shed, Plymouth, in February 1962 to be scrapped by Swindon works in May 1962.
