GWR 2-8-0 No 2858 passes through on the middle road on an up frieght circa 1937. Number 2858 was built as the 59th member of the 28xx class at Swindon works to Lot 2764 in May 1918 and ran in service until withdrawn from Severn Tunnel Jct shed in January 1963 before being scrapped at Swindon works in March 1963.
